Firstly. I didn't get to watch Queer as Folk on Monday because one of my house mates has her boyfriend and one of his friends over, and that friend was hogging the TV. *Bitch bitch bitch*

Secondly, water colour paper, even the "smooth" variaty, is a bitch to sketch on, not to mention that it being 100% cotten makes it smell... not nice! So now, I am *still* trying to sketch Casi onto the paper, but the paper is screwed, so I will have to transfer the sketch onto bleedproof and then back onto another piece of water color paper... I'm tempted to just CG it, but... *Sigh*

The only good thing is that I had finally gotten around to fixing the problem in Divinitas, so now Ashura has smokey blue-grey eyes and dark ashen grey hair. ^_^ I am hoping that is enough to fool Aether... Aether is bitching... Saying he's not *that* stupid or blind... And now he's bitching more because I just implied he *is* stupid and blind, just not to *that* extent... o_o I think I'll get back to Casi-sketching now.

Meow. Finally watched more of GTO, and man, I can't believe how hard I laughed through the episodes. ^_____^ Definately enjoyable, despite being pretty damn perverted. *Snickers*

Despite my hatch-crossing tone HW for illustration was like... rushed and finshed only an hour before it was due, I still got a good mark for it. ^_^;;; Teacher said it was nice and had a mysterious "atmosphere" about it... Whatever that means... Hahahahaha! Oh well. Anyway, started to CG the commission a bit, but have to put most of my effort into the next illustration project. Am drawing Casi for it. ^_^;;; I think this will define what Casi is the Goddess of... And considering the title of the poem the illustration is for is "I am the Song", I am thinking I will make her the Goddess of Song... Hmm. God of Soul, and Goddess of Song. The Song and the Soul. Meow... Would that work? Aether seems to be staying awfully quiet about all of this. o_o

Oh, the other day when I was in the art store, I saw them selling a wooden hand model for $70... I was tempted. Hands are always hard to draw, and this model had every joint save the lowest thumb joint moving... It was *nice*... But too expensive. Looking at my sketch of Casi now though... I sure wish I had it. ^_^;;; *Sigh* Well, better get back to work! After all, must stop at 10pm to watch Queer as Folk! ^_____^

Watched X2 and Matrix Reloaded yesterday. Was okay. Didn't think it was better than their first movies though. Oh well... Kinda wish I hadn't wasted a whole day for it... *Sigh*

Anyway! Finished the sketch of Alice and got it approved by the guy... Still waiting for the payment to come in the mail though... Am inking it now. Need to finish that, scan it, and then get on with my HW which is due tomorrow... *Sob*

Well. I finished watching Spiral. Despite the fact that nothing is explained about the Blade Children and their issues, I feel pretty content with the ending... It was nice and left everything open - like how future is without destiny binding it. I doubt there will be a second season for it. ^_^; I don't think we will ever know what the Blade Children are, really, or why they're cursed or why they're hunted... I don't think that really mattered. The whole series was about one's own life and future and defying destiny... Yeah, that, on top of the mystery / detective genre...

Anyway! Last class for today was cancelled because tutor was sick. ^_^ So I got to go home after my Animation lecture. ^____^ We watched some of the Animatrix. Was good, if disturbing somewhat... Now on train, almost home. Need to finish sketch for commission when I get home... Ugh...

End of semester in a bit more than 2 weeks. Suddenly it doesn't seem all that great. With the end of the semester nearing, all the subjects are giving out their last assignments... And they all are so time consuming... *Sob* For Illustration we still have to do the cross-hatching artwork, and on top of that, we have to do an illustration for a poem... No doubt I will get an assignment for Animation tomorrow, and it's certain we will get another for Design Principles 2D/3D. Have to design to images for Understanding Design... And if that wasn't enough, I *still* haven't finished the sketch of Alice for the commission!!! *Sobs* I really have zero time... *Twitches*

Oh, why did I have to become addicted to Neopets.com? ;___; But SemeAether the Uni is just so... cute... *Twitches more* Ugh, better get back to designing this stupid layout for the butter now...

Oh, I brought a printer/scanner thingy. Intend to take it to my uni-home and bring my other scanner back to home-home. It's a pain to have my printer at home-home and my scanner at uni-home... It's just... inconvient.

Kouryuu-chans watched the ending to Spiral. I have yet to, but she said that my prediction for it being an evil ending was right... Apparently we're not told any answers... *Sigh* At least I'm prepared for the worse now...

Just finished watching the first episode of Saint Beasts... Backgrounds are really nicely done... Um, and I suppose the four main characters are definately bishis... 2 totally look like girls. AJ's file... Audio is off so when they talk there is a bit of a lag... Hnn. I think I'm disappointed with this series after wanting to see it for so long. It's the first episode, sure, but its really lacking something. I'm not interested in the characters or the story at all. So... 2 dimensional. o_o

Anyway! I've made absolutely no progress on my HW or commission. Me bad. Suppose I should get started now, but I have to go for a hair cut this morning, and then to go and see if I can buy some pre-cut window frames for uni illustration work. *Sigh* That will take up most of the morning. Hair cuts always take so long because they are always running late... Evil bad service...

Oh, finished watching all I have of GetBackers. Spiral is also finished at 25 eps... Need to d/l that and watch it and then burn all of it off my HD... I have no illusion the ending to Spiral is going to be all "complete"... *Sigh*

It was easy to do a commission when I was on my one week break. I was surprised to finish it in 2 days and assumed foolishly that it wouldn't be a problem to take on another commission when I was back at uni... *Sigh* I need a voice of logic in my head... Draco would serve well at that, but he doesn't talk all that much to me. -___- Anyway! Am taking the commission home with me to work on. Still sketching. *Sigh* So much HW to do too!!! Hmmm, am meant to be working on sketching up the commission... But I don't like Alice. -___- She is kinda creepy and too much like a doll... And her hair is so uninteresting!!! >___< Drawing the cat will be hard too... *Sighs and wonders if she's taken on more than she can handle*

Got bored in class today so I drew up a quick chibi sketch of Phoenix with Casi clinging to his arm. It's cute. ^_^ Might clean it up and do a good copy and submit it for our new mascot thingy for our anime club. Doubt it'll get choosen or anything, but I just want to piss Phoenix off... Because both he and Casi are wearing Sailor Scout outfits! Phoenix even has a magic wand! *Sparkles* ... Hmm... Finished sketching and inking Draco today. I think it's too crowded, the drawing, and the quality of line is bad because the pen I used was... dying. *Sigh* Oh well... Yeah, went back to help at the Buddist function in Sydney again today. Stayed whole day, did much standing, feet very sore. Dunno where my sadistic yaoi fangirl self went today... Actually wished countless people good fortune and stuff... I think I should be very very weary.

Got zero uni work done this weekend. My bad. Suppose I should at least find the pics I'm meant to find for group work or risk getting in trouble... Hate group work. One of the girls in the group is a perfectionist... Horrible people to work with, those. -___- Espeically since I don't give a shit about this class. When you start making me design butter pakaging (YES, BUTTER!!!), I will say, "Screw You" and do a half-ass job... Really can't handle getting so many series at the same time... Want to cry much. ;_; So many eps released in the last few days... Any progress I made in clearing my backlog is gone... Gone, I tell you!

Blah. Anyway, DNAngel ep 5 was... disappointing. No Satoshi, no Krad, no Dark... -___- The only thing that made up for their lack was With being so so SO adorably cute! ^_^ Also watched E'S Otherwise ep 5, and yes, Kai dressed up as a girl really made this ep worth watching. *Snickers*

Anyway, finally got in contact with the guy I'm doing my lastest commission for... He's asked me to draw Alice and the cat from Alice, the PC game. o_o Not exactly anime/manga style, and I told him as much. Dunno how that will go, but I'm getting paid $56US for it. The most I've ever been offered for a commission... But he's sending US cash. Doesn't trust PayPal or something. Hmm... What will I do with US Cash...? Get it exchanged, I guess... Must wait for the US/AU exchange rate to go down for that... Meow. Kinda weird... Last commission I did for $5, and now I'm getting $56... I was shocked... I would have been happy to do it for $8, which was my starting price... ^_^;;;

What else? Oh yeah, helped out at the Buddist function down in Sydeny today. Going back tomorrow as well... Sat at the Q&A table today, basically doing little else aside from eating... o_o I didn't know any of the answers to the questions! ;___; But I did learn a lot, which was good. ^_^ I'm quite interested in Buddism now.

And work today... Their air-conditioning system never works in summer, but it always on full blast when it's cold... They are trying to trick us into working faster and harder to stay warm. -___-

Hmm, on the bright side at least ep 17 of Princess Tutu came out! ^_^ Finally, after months and months, a new ep! ^_^ Too bad I have so much other stuff qued before it... *Sob*

Was showing some classmates today the pic of Gryps I'm CGing atm because they were asking about how I CG and stuff... So I asked them if they thought there was anything wrong with his outfit... I'm referring to my dilemma here about his overly high slits that are some what revealing and suggest he lacks undergarments... Anyway, they said they didn't see anything odd with the outfit. So I specified by pointing at the area in question. They *still* said they didn't think there was anything wrong... Why? Because they all thought he was a girl. And wouldn't believe me when I said he was a boy... *Twitch* Gryps is now no longer talking to me. But really! -___- It's not my fault they're not sadistic yaoi fangirls and have not studied the art of telling the difference between bishis and bishoujo... Ugh. I think I should shut up before I get into trouble...

Just finished dinner. Am rather stuffed. Wasn't a nice dinner, since it was frozen pasta that I just re-heated in the microwave... *Sigh* It's not a matter of I can't cook (which is also true) but rather I am too lazy to cook. -__-x I'll endure my self-imposed suffering.

Finally bothered to get on the net today (only because I needed to print that assignment... ^_^;) and checked my email. Kouryuu-chan's Pretty Boy wrote me after she quoted stuff I wrote about him in an earlier entry. He insists his name is Andrew, but he's just... Pretty Boy to me... o_o Kouryuu-chan's Pretty Boy, to be precise. ^_^ *Snickers* He confirmed the fact he *liked* getting dressed up. ... Something like he was "whipped like that"... No comment from me.

Gah... Our Illustration lecture today was a non-event. Lecturer never showed up so everyone left after waiting 20 minutes for her... She didn't even post up a cancellation this time... Blah. On the bright side, that means we have no Illustration assignment this week! Woot! ^___^ I can spend more time working on my artworks and stuff... *Nods* Almost done with final sketch of Draco... Dunno who I will do next. But I figured I will do new profile pics for 10 characters: Gryps (cging), Draco (sketching), Chima, Phoenix, Aether, Casi, Ari, Ashura, Deus and Cyaneus. Are there any others I should do? Meow... *Looks at list again* Wee. One female character... Gah... Hmmm... I think I'm finally ready to do the final sketch of Draco... Even though I'm not all that thrilled of the pose. Working on CGing Gryps' hair atm, for him. Is pretty... mmm... lacking detail? Colour / highlighting / shadowing wise, I mean. Gryps hair is a bit.. blah to CG. Oh well.

Anyway! Am meant to be doing an assignment that's due tomorrow. Need to write about 2 sexist advertisements and say how to redesign them to make them not sexist... I'm pretty indifferent... ^_^;;; I don't really see a problem... I mean.. Like I can say anything when I torture my characters the way I do and dress them up in skimpy outfits that portrays them as little more than sex toys for their partners... *Cough cough cough* Something like... a pot calling the kettle black, ne? ^_^;;; Oh well... Nothing to do but write what they want me to write... Which is kinda stupid when you think about it. I'm not *really* expressing my truthful thoughts here, am I now? Blah...

You know how I was working rather hard on that flower thing? And then had to lug it to uni through wind and rain? It's big. Bigger than A3 size because of its mount. Well, anyway, got to class... Sat with the rest of the class for thirty minutes, waiting for our tutor to come... And then I walk out feeling annoyed, only to see the little piece of white paper stuck onto the door proclaiming that the tutor was sick and that today's class was cancelled... That little piece of paper no one noticed until I pointed and moaned at it. Typical, ne? ...

Anyway... Kouryuu-chans has already seen the new Gryps profile picture. The photographed ink outline of it anyway. For that, I did a rough sketch first to get the general pose. No great detail, very messy, sketchy lines everywhere to suggest actual lines. Then I did a final version with lots of detail, blah blah blah. Well, working on the Draco profile pic now. The rough sketch of it anyway. Looks like I've taken up doing rough sketches... People usually do rough drafts for written work... I never did that. Yet I've taken up doing rough sketches for artworks... -___- Hnnnnnnn. Waste of paper... *hisses*

Oh, and about this picture of Draco... Unlike the one of Gryps which uses the same "God of Air" outfit as in that 2002 coloured picture of him in the Divinitas artwork section, Draco's getting a new outfit. Despite that people actually said they liked his first version "God of Water" uniform... That uniform... Isn't really sexy or clingy enough for my liking. I seem to like clothing that shows as much of the body form as possible. Probably because I suck at drawing realistic looking baggy/flowing garments, but that's besides the point. ^_^ But yeah. That brings me back to my problem of... I have no design sense when it comes to clothing!!! *Sob sob sob*

I finally finished the flower thing. It sucks. Window mounting costs a hell of a lot just to buy the mount board and foam core backing. Cutting it out strains your arms and hands and fingers because everything is just so thick... Never want to do that again. Also took the stupid b&w photos which is another assignment, and they suck even more. -____- Stuff is out of focus and blurred... Hate photography! That's why I didn't want to do it!... But they make us do it in Illustrative anyway... *Hisses*

*Sigh* Going back to uni tomorrow... Must leave home and lovely computer... Backlog will build up again... -___- Ack. I don't want to go back to uni-home... Uni-home is evil... People living there are disgusting in the bathroom... *Twitches* But my scanner is there... Need my scanner so I can scan in pic of Gryps and CG it... Meow. On the bright side though, I only have 5 more weeks of Uni left!!! Then its a 6 week break!... Maybe not 6 weeks straight - there's assessments, but that shouldn't take much time, but still, I can't wait!!! ^_________^

Work today was pretty dull and a bludge as usual. Came home and started working on that crappy flower thing, but still haven't even finished the first flower. Looks like I will have to make other arrangements for it to be window mounted or whatever...

I can't really believe I'm liking PoT as much as I do... I mean, it *IS* an anime about tennis, after all, and I really really hated watched tennis on TV. It's kinda amazing what anime can make interesting and addictive. I totally love the extra episodes they throw in that revolve around the players more than tennis. They're so... funny... ^_^;;; Love the Inue-Juice episodes, and the SD/chibi one was just hilarious. Waa... Want more eps. Got all 72 that's out now... Same with HxH G.I. OVA... 8 eps are out, and supposedly some sources say that's all there is... but we're left hanging pretty badly. No conclusion at all unlike the first OVA. Blah. Anyway, maybe I will sleep now...

Heh.. Still haven't started on HW... But I finished the commission thing which you can see here. Guy liked, so that's enough, I guess. Pretty average effort on my part though.

Oh! Dragon Drive finished at 38 eps... Need to watch 31-38... Hmmm... Will do later. But I am kinda glad it's finished because that means one less anime for me to d/l! Yes, my backlog is that bad that I'm welcoming *less* anime... I wish I had a faster connection so badly... But I can't afford it... *Sob sob*

Oh, Trinity-sama has a new bf. ^_^ Am happy for her. Kouryuu-chans also has a pretty-boy whom she dresses up in pretty girl's clothing... I would say I feel sorry for him, but from what I've heard, he enjoys it. *Nods* He's also a damn good X-fic writer... A damn good X-shounen-ai-fic writer... That kinda... disturbs me. ^_^;
